Does the 67g Boveda fit in a standard mason jar?
Yes. The 67g pack (8.89cm x 13.335cm) fits comfortably in wide-mouth mason jars and is the standard size recommended for quart jars. It's specifically designed for this use case.
How long does the 67g pack last?
Typically 2-4 months in a sealed container, and potentially 6+ months in containers that are rarely opened. The less you open the container, the longer the pack lasts. Replace when the entire pack has hardened through — not just the edges.
Can I use the 67g for curing, not just storage?
Yes, with one caveat — Boveda works best when your flower is already mostly dried (around 10-15% moisture). It's not designed to pull large amounts of moisture out of wet flower. Use it to finish and hold your cure at 62%, not to do the primary drying.
Do I need to burp my jars if I'm using Boveda?
No — not for humidity control. Boveda manages moisture automatically. Some growers still choose to burp their jars for air exchange purposes, and that's fine. Just reseal and Boveda picks back up where it left off.
There are crystals in my Boveda pack — is it faulty?
No. Salt crystals forming inside the pack is completely normal — it's an inherent property of the saturated salt solution formula. It does not affect performance and is safe to use. If crystals ever puncture the pouch itself, contact Boveda directly for a replacement.
