Will the clip fit standard grow tent poles?
Yes. The clip is designed for the 19mm and 22mm pole diameters used in most grow tents. Check your pole if it falls outside that range.
Should I run the clip fan during the dark period?
Yes. Stagnant air in a dark, humid tent is exactly where mould starts. Keep the fan running 24/7 unless an environment controller has a specific reason to pause it.
Is one D4 enough for a standard grow tent?
For 0.6 x 0.6m or 0.8 x 0.8m tents, one D4 is generally enough. For 1.0 x 1.0m and larger, two D4s positioned to create a circular airflow pattern across the canopy will give better coverage than a single fan.
Does this fan replace an inline exhaust fan?
No. A clip fan handles internal circulation only — it does not exchange air with outside or filter odours. An inline exhaust fan and carbon filter are still needed for proper air exchange and odour control.
Can it be used outside a grow tent?
