Who we are
The Grow Guys is led by Jack — a grower with 14 years of hands-on experience spanning home grows, commercial farms, and agricultural operations across Australia and internationally. Jack has worked across multiple growing disciplines, travelled the globe to learn from commercial farming operations firsthand, and built a deep understanding of what growers actually need — at every level.
That experience is baked into everything we do. The brands we choose to stock, the advice we give, the way we write about products. Nothing gets on our shelves unless we'd back it ourselves.
How it started
The Grow Guys launched in 2023 with a simple mission — build an online hydroponics store that actually gives a sh*t. One that speaks to growers like people, stocks what works, and delivers real support instead of automated responses.
In 2024 we opened our physical retail store in Invermay, Tasmania — giving local growers a place to walk in, ask questions, and get gear the same day. The store quickly became a community hub for growers across the state, from first-timers to seasoned operators.
We're still early. But we're building fast — and we're building the right way.
What we stock
