Shipping policy

Order Processing
Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Orders placed before 12pm AEST are typically dispatched the same business day. Orders placed after this time, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed the next business day.
Once your order has been packed and dispatched, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking details.
Estimated Delivery Timeframes
Delivery times vary depending on your location, carrier, and order size:
- All timeframes are estimates only
- Carrier delays, weather events, and peak periods can affect delivery
- Unforeseen circumstances may cause delays outside our control
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order size and weight, delivery location, and carrier selection.
Some bulky or heavy items — such as grow tents, lighting, and large bags of growing media — may incur additional freight charges. These will be clearly shown at checkout or confirmed with you prior to dispatch.
Free Shipping Over $499*
We offer free standard shipping on orders over $499 AUD, excluding Western Australia (WA) and the Northern Territory (NT). Free shipping is automatically applied at checkout when your order qualifies.
Free shipping does not apply to:
- Orders shipped to WA or NT
- Grow tents
- Large lighting fixtures
- Large bags of growing media
- Hydroponic systems
- Items shipped on pallets or via specialised freight
If your order includes any excluded items or is shipping to WA or NT, freight charges will still apply — even if your order total exceeds $499. If you're unsure whether your order qualifies, contact us before purchasing and we'll find the most cost-effective option for you.
Authority to Leave (ATL)
If you select Authority to Leave, you accept full responsibility once the parcel is delivered to the nominated location. The Grow Guys are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged parcels after delivery where ATL has been selected.
Damaged, Missing, or Lost Items
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or appears to be lost in transit, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include the following:
- Carrier claims cannot be lodged without supporting photos
- Claims submitted outside the 48-hour window may not be accepted
Incorrect Shipping Details
Please double-check your delivery details at checkout. The Grow Guys are not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer. Re-shipping fees may apply if an order is returned to sender.
Returns & Shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or was sent incorrectly by us. For full details, please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy.
