  • Calibrate every 7 days in an active grow room. Rinse the probe with clean water between calibration solutions and before testing.
  • Store the probe tip in Bluelab KCl probe storage solution between uses — a dry probe degrades fast and loses accuracy before you notice.
  • For clones and seedlings, cross-check against a second meter until you are confident in your readings — accurate pH early is worth every extra minute.

How to Use

Remove the cap and rinse — Remove the probe cap and rinse the tip with clean water before calibrating or testing.

Calibrate at pH 4.0 — Dip the probe in Bluelab pH 4.0 solution and wait for the pen to recognise and accept the calibration point.

Rinse, then calibrate at pH 7.0 — Rinse the probe with clean water, then dip into Bluelab pH 7.0 solution and complete the second calibration point.

Test your solution — Rinse the probe, then submerge in your nutrient solution or reservoir sample and wait for the reading to stabilise.

Read and adjust — Note the pH, EC, and temperature simultaneously on the display. Adjust your nutrient solution as needed.

Store correctly — Rinse with clean water after use and replace the cap filled with KCl probe storage solution to protect the probe.
