Pairs well with
Slow, patchy rooting holds up everything that comes after it. Root Booster V2 is Plant Mechanics' root stimulant: a concentrated blend of vitamins, organic acid complexes, refined kelps, microbial exudates and chelating agents that goes into your feed at just 0.5ml per litre. Run it on cuttings and seedlings to get roots moving, through transplant to settle plants in, and on through veg and flower, which is how Plant Mechanics schedules it. It works in soil, coco and hydro. It is an additive, not a base nutrient, so it sits on top of your normal feed rather than replacing it.

Grower's Tip
- 0.5ml per litre is a small dose, so measure it with a syringe, not a capful. A 10-litre bucket needs 5ml.
- If you run silica, add it first to plain water, then your base nutrients, then Root Booster. Check pH and EC last.
- Start it with the first feed after you take cuttings or move plants up a pot. That is when new roots matter most.
- Give the bottle a good shake before you measure. Kelp and organic extracts settle in storage.
- Kelp-based additives can leave residue in fine drippers over a long run. Clean your lines between crops.
- Store the bottle cool, dark and capped tight between uses.
- Running a big reservoir every week? Work out your weekly volume and size up: 5L of Root Booster covers 10,000 litres of feed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use Root Booster V2 on cuttings?
Yes. Add it at 0.5ml per litre to the water or light feed you give your cuttings. Use a rooting gel such as Clonex Purple on the cut itself, then let Root Booster work in the root zone.
Is Root Booster V2 a base nutrient?
No. It is an additive. Run it on top of your normal base nutrient at 0.5ml per litre.
Does it work in soil?
Yes. Plant Mechanics rates it for soil, coco and hydro, all at the same 0.5ml per litre.
When should I stop using it?
Plant Mechanics runs it through veg and flower and does not publish a cut-off. Most growers stop it along with their other additives for the final flush.
Can I run it with other Plant Mechanics additives?
Yes. Plant Mechanics packs Root Booster V2 with Super Si, Super N+ and Mega PK in its own Starter Kit, so the range is designed to run together.
Is Root Booster V2 certified organic?
No. Plant Mechanics describes it as an organic root stimulant, but we have not seen certification, so we do not sell it as a certified organic input.
How long does a bottle last?
At 0.5ml per litre, the 250ml makes 500 litres of feed, the 1L makes 2,000 litres, the 5L makes 10,000 litres and the 20L makes 40,000 litres.
Does the 20L ship free?
No. The 20L ships as freight, calculated at checkout. The 250ml, 1L and 5L are part of our free shipping over $499* offer.
