Horti Cal is the calcium and magnesium backbone of Green Planet's HORTI feed program — a dry 14-0-0 formula with added Ca and Mg that runs through the entire cycle, veg and flower. It supplements the three things depleted media and soft water short plants on most: nitrogen for growth, calcium for cell wall strength, magnesium for photosynthesis. Like the rest of the HORTI commercial line, it's fully water-soluble and pH stable with no fillers and zero sediment — clean through hand mixing, stock tanks, injectors, and dosing systems, in soil, coco, and hydro.

- Mix each HORTI product in its own stock tank — combining the concentrates can cause precipitation. Dose into the reservoir separately.

Is Horti Cal the same as Pro Cal?
No. Pro Cal is Green Planet's liquid Cal-Mag; Horti Cal is the dry version built for the HORTI feed program's rates and mixing method. Both do the Ca/Mg job — pick the one that matches the rest of your feed line.
Do I use it in veg and flower?
Yes. It's the one HORTI product that runs the entire cycle — alongside Horti Grow in veg, then Horti Bloom and Horti Late Bloom through flower.
Do I need it if I'm growing in soil?
Yes, it's still worth running — though it's most critical in coco and with RO or soft water, where calcium and magnesium aren't coming from the medium or the tap. In rich soil you can run it lighter per the feed chart.
Can I mix it with the other HORTI powders in one tank?
No. Prepare each HORTI product in its own stock tank to avoid precipitation, then dose each into the main reservoir separately.
Does the nitrogen cause problems in late flower?
No — at feed-chart rates the nitrogen contribution is measured for the whole cycle, and Green Planet's program keeps it in the mix through flower. Follow the chart rather than free-pouring and it stays balanced.
