The UIS Control Plug connects outlet-powered equipment — humidifiers, heaters, dehumidifiers, A/Cs, fans and heat mats — to your AC Infinity UIS controller so it switches on and off automatically with your climate triggers, timers, cycles and schedules. This updated version ships with an Australian power socket and Australian plug, so it works on the AU grid with no adapters. Pair it with a WiFi-enabled UIS controller and you can monitor and control the lot from your phone through the AC Infinity app, complete with data graphs and alert notifications.
What It Does
The plug sits between your wall outlet and your equipment. Your UIS controller issues on and off commands, and the plug delivers or cuts power accordingly. That means gear with no smart features of its own — a basic humidifier, a heat mat, a portable A/C — can now respond to temperature and humidity triggers, run on schedules and cycles, and join the rest of your UIS ecosystem. It connects to a CONTROLLER 69, CONTROLLER 69 WiFi or CONTROLLER 69 PRO via the included 10-foot UIS cord.
Equipment Compatibility
Only devices that automatically start running the moment they receive power are compatible. The plug controls equipment by cutting power or letting it pass through — so anything that needs a button press to start after being plugged in cannot be controlled. Common compatible equipment includes:
- Humidifiers
- Dehumidifiers
- Air conditioning units
- Heaters
- Ventilation and circulation fans
- Grow lights
- Seedling heat mats
Specifications
- Test your gear first: plug it into a normal outlet, cut the power at the wall, then restore it. If it starts running again on its own, it will work with the Control Plug.
- Many digital heaters and A/Cs reset to standby after a power cut — check for an auto-restart setting in your appliance before relying on it for climate control.
- This plug requires a UIS controller to operate — it is not a standalone smart plug and won't function as a standard outlet.
How To Set It Up

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the UIS Control Plug work with Australian power outlets?
Yes. This updated version ships with an Australian power socket and Australian plug, so no adapters are needed on the AU grid.
Can it control any appliance?
No. Only equipment that automatically starts running when it receives power is compatible. Devices that need a button press after being plugged in cannot be controlled by any outlet plug.
Which controllers does it work with?
It connects to AC Infinity UIS controllers, including the CONTROLLER 69, CONTROLLER 69 WiFi and CONTROLLER 69 PRO, via the included 10-foot UIS cord. WiFi models add phone app control, data graphs and alert notifications.
Can I use it as a standard smart plug on its own?
No. It requires a connected UIS controller to operate and is not intended for use as a standard outlet.
