Pairs well with
CANNA Coco A&B is a two-part nutrient solution developed specifically for coco coir substrates — one of the most widely used two-part coco nutrients in the world and the natural companion to CANNA Coco Professional Plus. It accounts for coco's unique cation exchange behaviour, delivering calcium and magnesium in forms that remain stable and available in coco without the binding issues that plague general hydro formulas used in coir. Available in 1L, 5L, and 20L sets for any scale of grow.
Specifications
- Always add A to your water first, stir thoroughly, then add B — this is non-negotiable with any two-part nutrient to prevent precipitation.
- Water to runoff on every feed — coco is a high-frequency substrate and salt accumulation is your biggest enemy. Check runoff EC regularly to know when to flush.
- If using RO or very soft water, add CANNA CalMag Agent before your A&B to build a baseline mineral profile — Coco A&B assumes some hardness in the base water.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use CANNA Coco A&B in soil?
No — Coco A&B is formulated for coco coir specifically. For soil growing, CANNA Classic Vega and Flores are the correct products. Using coco-specific nutrients in soil or vice versa affects pH stability and nutrient availability.
Does CANNA Coco A&B cover veg and bloom?
Yes. Unlike the Classic range which has separate Vega and Flores formulas, CANNA Coco A&B runs the full cycle from seedling to harvest. You adjust the dose rate according to the CANNA Coco feed chart for each growth stage — the formula itself does not change.
Do I need to add CalMag to CANNA Coco A&B?
In most cases with moderately hard tap water, no. Coco A&B contains calcium and magnesium in its A component. However, if you are using RO water or very soft tap water, CANNA CalMag Agent added before your A&B will build a stronger baseline mineral profile and reduce the risk of deficiency.
How often should I water when using CANNA Coco?
Coco is a high-frequency substrate — most growers water once or twice daily to runoff in active veg and flower. The frequency depends on container size, plant size, and ambient temperature. Always water to runoff to prevent salt accumulation and check runoff EC regularly.
Which size should I buy?
The 1L set suits small grows or growers new to the CANNA Coco programme. The 5L covers most 2–6 plant grows through a full cycle. The 20L is for larger operations where buying in bulk significantly reduces cost per litre.
