The Avert Backpack Insert is a 17L carbon-lined liner designed to drop inside your existing backpack and turn it smell-proof — no need to replace gear you already own. 28×40×15cm universal fit, activated carbon lining, dual carbon-lined flap system, lockable zip, 600D polyester/PVC waterproof outer shell, plus two carry handles so it doubles as a standalone bag when you need it.
Specifications
- Check your host backpack's internal dimensions before ordering. The insert is 28×40×15cm — most standard 25–35L packs fit it without compression.
- Always close the inner velcro flap AND the zip. The dual flap design only works if both seals are engaged.
- Air the insert out between uses — pull it from the backpack, leave the flap open in a dry spot for a few hours. The carbon reactivates as it dries.
- Store dry. Damp contents shorten the working life of any activated carbon lining.

Yes — the insert is sized at 28×40×15cm, which is designed as a universal fit for most standard 25–35L backpacks. Measure your pack's main compartment before ordering if you're working with a slim or oversized design. The insert needs to sit flat, not compressed, for the carbon mesh to work properly.
Can I use it on its own without a backpack?
Yes — the insert has two carry handles built in, so it works as a standalone bag when you need to pull it out of the host backpack. Same carbon lining, same dual flap, same lockable security. Think of it as a smell-proof tote you can also use as a backpack liner.
