Yes. At 81.5 × 48 × 48 cm internal, the XL Duffle takes a standard 20L bucket upright with room to spare. You can fit two side-by-side if you're packing carefully.
Is it actually waterproof, or just water-resistant?
No, it's water-resistant. The 600D polyester/PVC outer and the smell-resistant zip will handle rain, splashes, and damp surfaces. It's not designed for submersion or sustained heavy downpour — pack accordingly.
How long does the carbon lining last?
With normal use and proper storage between trips, expect 18 to 24 months of strong odour control. Daily use in humid conditions shortens that. Airing the bag in dry, indirect sunlight every few months extends working life.
Can I remove the backpack straps?
