Pairs well with
Green Cleaner is a natural contact spray that kills spider mites, aphids, thrips, whiteflies, fungus gnats and powdery mildew on contact — without the residue, regulatory headaches, or resistance risk of conventional pesticides. The active blend of soybean oil, sodium lauryl sulfate, citric acid and isopropyl alcohol coats, dehydrates and suffocates soft-bodied pests and their eggs. Safe to apply from seedling through harvest day, compatible with every IPM program, and approved for food and feed crops. America's trusted plant wash for over 15 years, now stocked locally for Australian growers.
Specifications
- Shake hard before measuring and keep shaking during application. The concentrate settles fast.
- Spray with the main lights off. Lights back on only once foliage is fully dry — droplets magnify light and burn leaves.
- Cool the room to ~18°C before and during treatment. Mites reproduce slower in cooler temps.
- Saturate the underside of every leaf. Miss a spot, miss the eggs.
- Drop the rate to 4 mL/L in late flower. Heavier rates leave oil residue on developed buds.
- Mix with water only. No nutrients, no foliar feeds, no other sprays.
- Remove badly affected leaves before spraying and bin them outside the grow area.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will Green Cleaner damage flowers, fruit or vegetables?
No, not when applied correctly. Spray with the main lights off, let foliage dry before lights come back on, and drop to 4 mL/L from late flower onwards to avoid oil residue on developed buds or fruit. Applied this way, it won't damage flowers, vegetables or fruit.
Can it be used on the day of harvest?
Yes. Green Cleaner has a 0-day pre-harvest interval. Most growers still stop spraying 7–10 days out purely for bud presentation, but there's no residue or chemical holding period that forces you to wait.
Will pests build resistance with repeated use?
No. The product works by physically coating, dehydrating and suffocating pests and eggs. There's no biochemical pathway for them to adapt around, so effectiveness holds up even with long-term rotation use.
Can I mix Green Cleaner with other pesticides or nutrients?
No. Mix with water only. Combining with nutrients, foliar feeds or other pesticides can cause ingredient interactions, oil separation, and plant damage. Apply it on its own and space out other sprays by 24–48 hours.
Is it safe around kids, pets and beneficial insects?
Yes for kids and pets with sensible handling — keep out of reach, avoid eye and skin contact when mixing, and let treated foliage dry before re-entry. For beneficials like ladybugs or predatory mites, spray when they're not active and allow foliage to dry before releasing them back.
Which size is right for my setup?
Match bottle size to garden load. The 60 mL (12 L spray) suits a small 1 × 1 m tent or a trial run. The 236 mL (48 L spray) covers most home grows through a full cycle. Step up to the 946 mL (192 L) for multi-tent setups or active infestations. The 3.78 L and 9.46 L sizes are built for commercial operators and serious multi-room growers — per-mL cost drops significantly at those volumes.
Does it work on powdery mildew?
Yes. Green Cleaner shifts the pH of the leaf surface and physically washes spores off. Apply at 4 mL/L at the first sign of white patches on foliage and repeat 48 hours later to catch any new spore activity.
How long does it last once mixed with water?
Mixed solution should be used within 24 hours. Sealed concentrate has no expiry date; opened bottles stay good for around 12 months. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
