When coco-grown plants move into flowering, the feed needs to move with them: more potassium and phosphorus, a little less nitrogen. GT Coco Bloom is Growth Technology's two-part base nutrient formulated specifically for coco fibre through the flowering stage. Against GT Coco Grow, the combined A and B analysis lifts potassium to 7.39% w/v and phosphorus to 1.5%, with nitrogen eased back to 5.02% and calcium held at 4.5%. Mixing is the same as Grow: Part A at 4ml per litre, stirred through, then the same amount of Part B. Test and adjust the pH to 5.5–6.5, and replace the mixed solution every week or two. Every set is a matched Part A and Part B: 2 × 1L, 2 × 5.5L or 2 × 20L.

Each set is two bottles. You get one Part A and one Part B of the same size, and you need both. Use GT Coco Grow A&B through the vegetative stage. Not growing in coco? Growth Technology's single-bottle hydroponic nutrient is Ionic Bloom.
Formulated for coco in flowerGrowth Technology made GT Coco specifically for coco fibre. The Bloom formula covers the flowering stage, so you are not running a vegetative feed through flowering.
More potassium and phosphorusCombined analysis: potassium 7.39% and phosphorus 1.5% w/v, against 6.14% and 1.0% in Coco Grow, with nitrogen eased back from 5.52% to 5.02%.
A and B, apart until the waterTwo concentrates, so minerals that would react in one bottle only meet once diluted. Add A, stir, then add the same amount of B.
4ml of each part per litreA 1L set at 4ml per litre of each part makes 250 litres of nutrient solution. The 2 × 20L set is for rooms that mix by the drum.
Matched pairs in every sizeEvery set is one Part A and one Part B of the same size. Equal doses mean both bottles run down together.
Runs with Super PK and SilicaGrowth Technology's flowering additives come from the same maker, so the base nutrient and boosters follow one set of directions.

Grower's Tip

  • Change over from GT Coco Grow as the plants move into flowering, not once the first flowers have opened.
  • Never pour Part A and Part B into each other, or into a small amount of water together. Add A to the full volume of water and stir it through, then add B.
  • Use the same measure of B as A, every time. An uneven mix shifts the balance the formula was built on.
  • If you run Super PK, add it after A and B and before you set the pH, at its own label rate. Silica is different: it goes into the plain water first and rests 15 minutes before Part A goes in.
  • Replace mixed solution every week or two, and stir it before each use. That is Growth Technology's guidance for GT Coco Bloom.
  • A 1L set at 4ml per litre of each part makes 250 litres of solution. The 2 × 5.5L set suits a tent through flowering; the 2 × 20L set is for bigger rooms.
  • Store both bottles somewhere cool and dark.

How To Mix It

1Fill the reservoir or mixing container with the volume of water you need. If you run Silica, add it to the plain water now, stir it through and let it rest 15 minutes.
2Shake Part A and add 4ml per litre of water. Stir it through thoroughly.
3Shake Part B and add the same amount. Stir well.
4Stir in any other additives you use, such as Super PK, one at a time.
5Test the pH and adjust it to 5.5–6.5, check the EC, then feed. Replace the mixed solution within one to two weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is GT Coco Bloom made for coco coir?

Yes. Growth Technology formulates GT Coco specifically for coco fibre. Coco Bloom covers the flowering stage and Coco Grow covers the vegetative stage.

How much do I use?

4ml of Part A per litre of water, then the same amount of Part B, adjusted to reach the conductivity you want.

Can I mix Part A and Part B together in one bottle?

No. Keep the concentrates separate. Add Part A to the full volume of water and stir it through, then add an equal amount of Part B.

Do I need to adjust the pH?

Yes. Growth Technology's direction is to test and adjust to 5.5–6.5 after A, B and any additives are mixed in, and to monitor it regularly.

How long does mixed solution last?

About 1–2 weeks. Replace it every couple of weeks and stir it well before each use.

What is in a set?

One Part A and one Part B of the same size: 2 × 1L, 2 × 5.5L or 2 × 20L. You need both parts to make the nutrient.

Will GT Coco Bloom make my plants flower?

No. Light, day length and the plant's maturity decide when it flowers. Coco Bloom feeds the plant properly once flowering has started.

Can I add Super PK?

Yes. Growth Technology makes Super PK as a flowering additive. Mix it in after A and B and before you adjust the pH, at its own label rate.

What is the analysis?

Growth Technology publishes a combined A and B analysis: total nitrogen 5.02% w/v (nitrate 4.71, ammonium 0.31), phosphorus 1.5%, potassium 7.39%, calcium 4.5%, magnesium 1.0% and sulfur 2.14%, plus six trace elements. The full table is in Specifications.

Welcome to The Grow Guys

We built The Grow Guys from the soil up — well, coco and perlite. Before we sold gear, we bought it, ran it, and learned the hard way what's worth the money and what ends up in the shed. That's the filter everything on our shelves passes through. No sales scripts, no rebadged junk, no telling you what you want to hear. Just gear we'd run ourselves and advice from people who actually grow. Chasing higher yields, tighter flowers, or your first harvest? You're in the right place.
