The included thermal probe reads your grow space in real time, and the controller trims fan speed across 6 levels to hold the temperature you set. It runs up to four EC fans at once, draws its power straight through the fan connection, and flags a fault the moment a fan stops pulling its weight.

  • Connect the controller before powering the fan — SigilVentus EC fans do not function without a speed control connection
  • Position the probe at canopy level, away from lights and out of the fan's direct airflow
  • Set a low baseline speed in Auto Mode and let the controller ramp up only when the room warms — quieter running and less power drawn

How to Set It Up

1Connect the controller to your SigilVentus EC fan (up to four) before powering up — the fans won't run without it.
2Position the thermal probe at canopy level, clear of lights and direct airflow.
3Set your target temperature and fan speed in Auto Mode, and an Alarm threshold if you want an over-temp warning.
4Let Auto Mode take over — the controller adjusts speed to hold your set temperature from here.

Common Questions

Does it control humidity as well as temperature?

No. This controller works from temperature only. If you want humidity-based control as well, step up to the SigilVentus Smart EC Fan Controller Pro, which reads both.

Does it need its own power supply?

No. It draws power through the fan connection — no additional power cord or adaptor is required.

Can it run more than one fan?

Yes. It connects and controls up to four SigilVentus EC fans at the same time.

Will it work with any inline fan?

No. It's designed for SigilVentus EC fans. AC fans and other brands' EC fans run from their own controllers.

Will it tell me if a fan fails?

Yes. The controller detects which connected fan has stopped working and raises an alert.
