Pairs well with
If you do not want a shelf of plant-specific bottles, this is the one to buy. Complete Focus is Growth Technology's all-rounder, made in Australia: a complete liquid nutrient with all 12 essential minerals, nitrogen as nitrate, no urea, chlorides or sodium, pH buffered for tap water, and a dose range wide enough to run from a delicate fern at 3ml per litre to a fruiting tomato at 7ml. It suits indoor plants, herbs, vegetables, flowers and fruit in pots, beds or hydroponics. The exceptions are phosphorus-sensitive Australian natives, which get Native Focus, and anything you want to push hard in one direction, where the plant-specific Focus lines do better. Available in 250ml, 1L, 5L and 20L.

Grower's Tip
- Pick the rate by the plant, not the bottle. Growth Technology's own split is low rate for delicate plants (herbs, foliage, leafy greens) and high rate for heavy feeders (vegetables, fruit, flowers).
- Start every plant at the low end and move up as it matures. It is easier to add than to flush out.
- Water to runoff and flush pots with plain water once a month. Feeding at every watering only works if the salts leave the pot.
- Yellowing leaves on an indoor plant are usually overwatering, low light or tired mix, not hunger. Growth Technology says the same: rule those out before reaching for more fertiliser.
- A 1L bottle at 5ml per litre makes 200 litres of feed. For a mixed household of pots the 1L is the right size; the 5L is for a garden, the 20L for a grower.
- Mix fresh each fortnight and store the concentrate cool and dark.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use Complete Focus on all my plants?
Yes, with one exception: phosphorus-sensitive Australian natives such as grevilleas, banksias and proteas, which need Native Focus. Everything else, indoor and outdoor, soil and hydro, can run on Complete Focus.
How much do I use?
3–7ml per litre of water in soil and potting mix, 5–10ml per litre in hydro, at every watering. Use the low end for delicate plants (herbs, foliage, leafy greens) and the high end for heavy feeders (vegetables, fruit, flowers). Flush with plain water once a month.
Does it contain urea?
No. Complete Focus is free from urea, chlorides and sodium. Nitrogen is supplied as nitrate.
Do I need to adjust the pH?
No, not with most tap water. It is pH buffered.
Is it suitable for vegetables and herbs?
Yes. Use the higher rate on fruiting vegetables and the lower rate on herbs and leafy greens.
What is the difference between Complete Focus and the plant-specific Focus lines?
Complete Focus is one balanced formula for everything. The plant-specific lines shift that balance: Foliage Focus is tuned for leaf growth, Flower Focus leans on potassium for blooms, Native Focus cuts phosphorus right back, and Chilli and Rose Focus are balanced for fruiting and for roses. If you grow one type of plant seriously, the specific line does better; if you grow a bit of everything, this is the bottle.
What is the NPK?
Growth Technology publishes a full analysis rather than a ratio: nitrate-nitrogen 2.2%, phosphorus 0.5% and potassium 2.7% w/v, plus calcium, magnesium, sulfur and six chelated trace elements. The full table is in Specifications.
Can I use it in hydroponics and semi-hydro?
Yes. It is formulated for both hydroponics and soil. Use the 5–10ml per litre rate in inert media and replace the reservoir every fortnight.
How long does a mixed solution last?
About 1–2 weeks. After that, replace it.
