GT COCO – Organically Enhanced for Optimal Growth Potential

Coco fibre has quickly become the top choice for hydroponic growing in Australia due to its unique physical properties. To maximize its potential, coco fibre requires a specialized nutritional program. GT COCO is organically enhanced with fulvic acid and tailored specifically to meet the distinct needs of coco fibre. This makes it the best choice for achieving consistent, outstanding results.

The specially formulated mineral profile compensates for coco fibre’s tendency to lock up calcium, while the fulvic acid acts as a biological stimulant, boosting cell division and improving the availability and uptake of minerals and oxygen.

GT COCO is available in two formulations:

  • GT COCO Grow: Perfect for the vegetative stage, promoting rapid leaf and shoot development.

  • GT COCO Bloom: Ideal for the flowering stage, encouraging abundant bud and flower production.

GT COCO works with any grade of coco fibre and is best suited for run-to-waste systems and passive systems.

Important Tips:

  • Be mindful of the water retention capacity of coco fibre. Avoid over-watering.

  • Coco fibre salinity can be an issue if not managed. Always flush new coco with fresh water before planting, and perform weekly flushes to prevent nutrient build-up.

  • Gradually increase the nutrient strength throughout the growth cycle. For example, start with 1.2mS during the vegetative stage and increase it to 1.6mS towards the end of this stage.

  • Both the Grow and Bloom formulas come in 'A' and 'B' parts. Mix them in equal amounts as directed to maintain the optimal nutrient profile.

  • pH levels matter! Ensure the pH remains within the recommended range to ensure minerals are accessible to the plants. If using a pH test kit, aim for a pH of around 6.

Growers First, Retailers Second

Welcome to The Grow Guys

We built The Grow Guys from the soil up — well, coco and perlite. Before we sold gear, we bought it, ran it, and learned the hard way what's worth the money and what ends up in the shed. That's the filter everything on our shelves passes through. No sales scripts, no rebadged junk, no telling you what you want to hear. Just gear we'd run ourselves and advice from people who actually grow. Chasing higher yields, tighter flowers, or your first harvest? You're in the right place.
