GROWER TIP — GETTING THE MOST FROM YOUR CARBON LINING

Store the bag empty and unzipped in a dry, airy spot between uses — moisture is what kills carbon lining over time.
Air the bag in sunlight for a few hours every few months to refresh the carbon. It won't fully regenerate it, but it extends working life noticeably.
Be honest with yourself: carbon lining isn't forever. With regular use, expect 18 to 24 months of strong odour control. Heavy daily use shortens that.
Don't wash the inner lining. Spot-clean the outer 600D shell only — water and carbon don't mix.

How to Pack the XL Duffle

Check the lining and velcro. Make sure the inner flap sits flat and the velcro strip lines up cleanly. A gap here is where smell escapes.

Pack heaviest at the base. Buckets, jars, or denser cargo go at the bottom. Lighter material on top keeps the shape and protects the lining.

Seal the inner flap before the zip. Press the carbon-lined flap down across the full opening, then close the velcro. The zip is the outer barrier — the flap does the heavy lifting on odour.

Lock it if you need to. The zip pulls accept a small padlock. Worth it for transport, airline check-in, or anywhere the bag leaves your sight.
