The BudTrainer BudPots are a premium fabric pot built around one idea — make plant training easy without the pot collapsing on you. A reinforced steel rim holds shape while you fill, transplant, and tie down. Eight rust-proof grommets around the base let you anchor LST ties straight to the pot instead of fighting the soil. The 400 GSM recycled fabric air-prunes roots for a denser rootball, and the whole pot is hand-washable for 5+ grow cycles. Sold in 4-packs across five sizes from 19L (5 Gal) up to 95L (25 Gal).
Steel-Reinforced RimHolds its shape under tension. No collapsing when you tie branches down or top-water heavily.
Built-In Training GrommetsEight rust-proof, tear-proof grommets at the base give you fixed tie-down points for LST without rigging stakes.
400 GSM Air-Pruning FabricThicker than typical fabric pots. Naturally air-prunes the root tips for a denser, more efficient root structure.
Reusable for 5+ CyclesRecycled fabric, hand-washable between grows. One purchase covers years of cycles.

Watering tip — fabric pots dry faster than plastic
Expect to water 30–40% more often than the equivalent plastic pot, especially in airflow-heavy tents.
Use a saucer indoors to catch runoff, but never leave the pot sitting in standing water — it kills the air-pruning effect.
Top-water until you see 10–20% runoff. The reinforced rim keeps the pot stable while you water heavily.
For larger sizes (57L / 15 Gal and up), consider drip irrigation or an AutoPot setup to keep moisture consistent.
How to Use
1
Fill with a quality substrate. Coco, coco/perlite blends, and living soil all work. Fill to about 2cm below the steel rim to leave room for watering.
2
Transplant your seedling or clone. The reinforced rim means you can press the medium in firmly without warping the pot.
3
Run your training ties through the grommets. Thread soft plant ties or wire through the base grommets and tie down branches as the canopy develops. The grommets take the pull instead of stakes or stems.
4
Water from the top until you see 10–20% runoff. Fabric pots dry quickly, so check moisture daily — especially in smaller sizes and warmer rooms.
5
Empty, rinse, and hand-wash between cycles. Shake out spent medium, rinse with warm water and a mild detergent if needed, and air-dry fully before storing.
Yes. The 400 GSM recycled fabric and steel rim are built to handle 5+ grow cycles with proper care. Empty after each cycle, rinse with warm water, and hand-wash with mild detergent if there's residue. Air-dry fully before storing.
Will the steel rim rust over time?
No, not under normal use. The rim is coated to resist corrosion, and the grommets are rated rust-proof. To extend lifespan, dry the pot fully between cycles rather than storing wet.
What size should I use for an indoor grow?
It depends on the final canopy size and how long you'll keep plants in veg. As a general guide: 19L (5 Gal) for short veg / SOG-style setups, 27–38L (7–10 Gal) for standard indoor home grows, 57L (15 Gal) for long-veg or large single plants, and 95L (25 Gal) for outdoor or large indoor setups.
Do I need a saucer underneath?
Yes for indoor use — fabric pots seep at the base when watered, so a saucer or drip tray keeps your floor clean. Empty the saucer after watering. Standing water under a fabric pot blocks airflow and undoes the air-pruning effect.
Can I use them outdoors?
Yes. The fabric handles UV and weather, and the larger sizes (57L and 95L) are well suited to outdoor growing. Be aware that fabric pots dry faster in sun and wind than plastic, so factor that into your watering schedule.
How do the training grommets actually work?
Eight grommets ring the lower portion of each pot. Thread soft plant ties, wire, or string through a grommet and loop it over a branch to pull it down sideways. Because the load goes through the grommet and rim instead of the stem, you can apply firm tension without snapping branches or tipping the pot.
Are these dishwasher safe?
No. Hand-wash only with warm water and a mild detergent. The fabric and rim are designed for long reuse, but heat cycles and harsh dishwasher detergents will shorten their life.
Is there a warranty?
Yes — every BudPots 4-pack is covered by a 1-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear from heavy use isn't covered.
