Pairs well with
The AC Infinity CO2 Controller is a dedicated monitor and controller that automates CO2 delivery in your grow room based on live ppm readings. It reads current CO2 concentration, compares it to your programmed target, and triggers your CO2 equipment to dose or shut off accordingly — keeping the concentration in the sweet spot for accelerated growth without manual monitoring. If you are running CO2 supplementation, this is the tool that makes it actually work as intended rather than relying on timers and guesswork.
Specifications
- CO2 supplementation only benefits plants under high-intensity light — at lower PPFD levels, CO2 enrichment above ambient (around 400ppm) delivers little measurable return. Make sure your lighting can support enriched CO2 levels before investing in supplementation.
- Position the CO2 sensor at canopy height — CO2 is heavier than air and concentrations at the root zone differ from those at the canopy where plants actually absorb it.
- Disable CO2 dosing during lights-off — plants do not photosynthesise in the dark and CO2 enrichment during this period is wasted and potentially unsafe.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a sealed room to use CO2 supplementation?
Yes, or close to it. CO2 enrichment only works when the room retains the enriched atmosphere long enough for plants to benefit. In a room with active air exchange to outdoors, CO2 is exhausted before concentration builds to useful levels. Reduce air exchange significantly or run a sealed environment for CO2 supplementation to deliver results.
What ppm target should I set for my grow?
Most indoor growers target 1000–1500ppm for enriched environments under high-intensity lighting. Ambient CO2 is approximately 400ppm. Start at 1000ppm and monitor plant response before pushing higher — benefits plateau beyond 1500ppm for most crops.
Is elevated CO2 dangerous in a grow room?
Yes, at sufficient concentrations. CO2 above approximately 2000ppm causes headaches, dizziness, and at higher levels more serious symptoms in humans. The controller's high-CO2 alarm helps prevent dangerous accumulation — always ventilate fully before entering a room that has been running CO2 enrichment.
Does this controller work with both CO2 burners and tank setups?
Yes. The controller operates by triggering the connected equipment's power supply on and off based on ppm readings. It is compatible with CO2 burners (which plug in directly) and CO2 tank solenoid valves (which require a powered solenoid on the regulator).
Should I run CO2 during lights-off?
No. Plants only use CO2 during photosynthesis, which requires light. Running CO2 during dark periods is wasted gas and creates unnecessary concentration build-up. Configure the controller to operate only during your lights-on hours.
