Pairs well with
The Fan-Tastic 6.5A Controller takes temperature management off your plate. Plug your fan into it, set a minimum fan speed and a target temperature, and the included probe reads the room while the controller adjusts fan speed to hold your set temp. Motion Flow software makes those speed changes smoothly instead of in hard jumps, so your fan runs quieter, draws less power, and lasts longer.

Fan Size Calculator- Position the probe at canopy level, away from lights and out of the fan's direct airflow — probe placement makes or breaks the reading
- SMSCOM's manual recommends fans up to 5A (1000W) — larger fans can damage the unit despite the 6.5A rated ceiling
- Pair with acoustic ducting if noise matters — a smooth-running fan plus insulated duct is about as quiet as extraction gets
How to Set It Up
Pairs Well With
Single-phase AC inline fans are exactly what this controller is built to run.
Odour Control & Carbon FiltersKeep negative pressure and scrub smells while the controller manages airflow.
Environment ControllersCompare the full range if you need humidity or multi-device control as well.
Common Questions
Does it work without the temperature probe plugged in?
Yes. Without the probe it runs as a manual speed dimmer using the left dial. The right (temperature) dial only becomes active once the probe is connected.
Can it control EC or DC fans?
No. It's designed for single-phase AC fans only. EC fans such as the AC Infinity Cloudline range run from their own dedicated controllers.
Does it make my fan quieter?
Yes, in most setups. Motion Flow moves between speeds gradually rather than pulsing, which cuts the surging and drone you get from cruder dimmers, and lets you run the fan only as hard as the room needs.
How long does setup take?
Minutes. There's no wiring — plug in, set the two dials, and allow 5–10 minutes for the controller's initial room scan before it settles into automatic control.
Let the Room Run Itself
Stable temps, quieter fans, and one less thing to check every day.
