  • Lay out your trays and dry-fit the whole drain line before you fix anything in place.
  • Give the drain line a gentle fall toward your bucket or drain so run-off keeps moving.
  • Raise the trays on their legs so there's room for the drain line underneath.
  • Flush the line with clean water between crops so salts and debris don't build up at the joins.
  • Buy a spare. A $5 fitting is not what you want holding up a room setup.

How To Set It Up
1Set your Flow Trays out where they'll sit and decide where the run-off needs to end up.
2Work out where each T goes, and cut your 1¼-inch pipe to fit between them.
3Screw each T on at its 19mm thread and dry-fit the pipe before you fix anything in place.
4Give the line a slight fall toward your bucket or drain.
5Run clean water through the trays and check every join for leaks before the plants go on.
