Around week 5 of flower the plant stops building frame and starts packing on weight, and that's when its appetite for phosphorus and potassium peaks. PK by Bloom is the range's dedicated PK booster for that window: a concentrated 0-19.5-21 phosphorus and potassium supplement made from phosphoric acid and potassium hydroxide, run at 1ml per litre every feed through peak flower and stopped for the final flush. It's the heavy PK hit that Phat deliberately isn't, it runs alongside Ooze, and it sits on top of your base nutrients. It's a straight mineral feed, so it adds EC: watch your runoff and back off if leaf tips start to burn. A litre makes 1,000 litres of feed.

The range's real PK hit0-19.5-21. Phat and Ooze carry small amounts of P and K; this is the bottle that delivers them in quantity.
Timed for peak flowerFrom around week 5 of bloom, when the plant's demand for phosphorus and potassium is highest.
1ml per litreA concentrated mineral feed, so a small dose does the work. A litre makes 1,000 litres of feed.
Runs alongside OozeOoze starts at week 5 too. Run both at their normal rates in Bloom's program.
Sits on top of your baseNo need to cut back your base flower nutrients. PK adds to them at peak demand.
Mineral, not biologicalNo kelp, sugars or humates. Pure phosphorus and potassium, so it plays well with any base feed.

Grower's Tip

  • Start PK at around week 5 of flower, once the frame is built and the flowers start filling out.
  • Keep your base flower nutrients at their normal rate. PK is extra phosphorus and potassium on top, not a replacement feed.
  • PK adds EC. Check your feed and runoff EC when you bring it in, and ease off if leaf tips start to burn.
  • Running Ooze as well? Both start around week 5 in Bloom's program. Run each at its normal rate.
  • Add PK with your other nutrients and adjust pH last, after everything is in.
  • Stop PK for the final flush.

How To Use It

5Stop PK for the final flush.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do I use Bloom PK?

At peak flower, from around week 5 of bloom, at 1ml per litre in every feed. Stop for the final flush.

Is Bloom PK the same as Phat?

No. Phat is a kelp and trace mineral enhancer with very little P or K. PK is 0-19.5-21, the range's dedicated phosphorus and potassium booster.

Can I run PK and Ooze together?

Yes. In Bloom's program both start around week 5 of flower. Run each at its normal rate.

Do I need to cut back my base nutrients?

No. Bloom designs its additives to run alongside your base feed at its normal rate, so you add PK on top rather than in place of anything.

Will PK raise my EC?

Yes. It's a concentrated mineral feed, so it lifts EC. Check feed and runoff EC when you bring it in and ease off if leaf tips burn.

Can I use it in soil or coco?

Yes. Bloom lists soil, coco and hydro, all at the same 1ml per litre.

How long does a bottle last?

A litre makes 1,000 litres of feed at 1ml per litre. The 300ml makes 300 litres.

Is it organic?

No. It's a mineral phosphorus and potassium supplement, and Bloom's range is not certified organic.

Welcome to The Grow Guys

We built The Grow Guys from the soil up — well, coco and perlite. Before we sold gear, we bought it, ran it, and learned the hard way what's worth the money and what ends up in the shed. That's the filter everything on our shelves passes through. No sales scripts, no rebadged junk, no telling you what you want to hear. Just gear we'd run ourselves and advice from people who actually grow. Chasing higher yields, tighter flowers, or your first harvest? You're in the right place.
