How do I add Plant Guard to my mix?
Always add it first. Dilute Plant Guard into fresh water on its own before it reaches the reservoir or any other nutrient. Silica is alkaline, and if it hits leftover or concentrated feed it can precipitate and lock out the rest of your nutrients. Dilute it, then add your base and additives, then check pH.
