The Spider Farmer G4500 is a 320W bar-style LED built for a 70x140cm (2x4 ft) flowering footprint. It puts out 913 µmol/s PPF at 2.85 µmol/J using high-density Bridgelux diodes — American-made LEDs that keep costs down without gutting performance. Built-in WiFi and Bluetooth mean you can schedule, dim, and set Sunrise/Sunset from your phone without buying anything extra. For growers who want solid, app-controlled lighting in a 2x4 tent at a price that doesn't sting, the G4500 is the sensible call.

913 µmol/s at 2.85 µmol/J Strong PPF output for a 320W fixture. Bridgelux high-density diodes run cool and efficient, with less heat per diode than lower-density designs.
WiFi + Bluetooth App Control Schedule lights, set dimming levels, and program Sunrise/Sunset modes from your phone. No separate controller required — it's built in.
Daisy-Chain Ready RJ12 cable included. Chain multiple G4500 units for synchronized dimming control across a larger setup without extra dimmer hardware.
Plug and Grow AU plug included, four YoYo hangers in the box. No assembly required beyond hanging it. Ready to run from the moment it arrives.

TGG Grower Tips
  • This light is rated for a 70x140cm flowering footprint at full power. Running it over a larger tent at full power will result in uneven coverage and lower PPFD at the edges — stick to the rated footprint for best results.
  • The driver can be mounted outside the tent using the included cable. In a 70x140cm space, keeping the driver outside reduces heat load inside meaningfully — worth doing.
  • Download the Spider Farmer app before you hang the light. Set up WiFi pairing while you can still reach the fixture easily. Pairing via Bluetooth first, then assigning to WiFi, tends to be the smoothest process.
  • Sunrise/Sunset mode in the app is worth using. Gradual ramp-up over 15–30 minutes lets your environmental controls respond to rising light load before the room is at full intensity — less temp spike at lights-on.
  • If you are running multiple G4500s, daisy-chaining them via the RJ12 cable syncs dimming across all units from one control point — no need to adjust each fixture individually.
  • Bridgelux diodes are not Samsung LM301H diodes. That is why this light costs less. For most growers in a 2x4 tent, the real-world difference is small. If you need the absolute highest efficacy available, look at the Lumatek or Treegers range.

What Are Bridgelux Diodes?

Bridgelux is an American LED manufacturer — not a budget Chinese brand. Their diodes are used in horticultural, commercial, and industrial lighting worldwide. In the grow light market, Bridgelux is typically positioned below Samsung LM301H as a cost-effective alternative, which is why the G-series costs less than Spider Farmer's own SE or SF ranges. The trade-off is small at the hobby level: 2.85 µmol/J is a strong efficacy figure regardless of diode brand. The high-density layout — more diodes, less power per diode — means each LED runs cool, which extends lifespan and keeps output stable over time. For a 2x4 tent on a budget, the diode brand matters a lot less than having the right wattage, the right footprint, and lights that actually turn on reliably. The G4500 delivers all three.

Getting Started

1
Attach the four YoYo hangers to the fixture mounting points and hang the G4500 above your canopy. For early veg or seedlings, start at 50–60 cm above the plants. For flowering at full power, 35–45 cm is the typical range — but watch plant response in the first week and adjust.
2
Route the driver outside the tent if possible. The included power cord is long enough to pass through a tent port with the driver mounted on the outside. This keeps heat out of the grow space and is worth the five minutes it takes to set up.
3
Download the Spider Farmer app (iOS or Android) before powering on. Enable Bluetooth on your phone, power on the fixture, and follow the in-app pairing process. Once paired via Bluetooth, connect to WiFi in the app settings for remote control when you are not in range.
4
Set your light schedule in the app. Configure on/off times, your target dimming level for the current growth stage, and Sunrise/Sunset duration if you want gradual ramp transitions. The schedule runs automatically without needing your phone in range once it is saved to the fixture.
5
Start at 60–70% output for the first week regardless of growth stage, then ramp to your target intensity once the canopy has acclimated. The manual dimming knob on the fixture gives you immediate control without opening the app — useful during inspections or early adjustments.

Frequently Asked Questions

What tent size does the G4500 cover for flowering?

The G4500 is rated for a 70x140cm (2x4 ft) flowering footprint at full power. It will cover a 90x150cm (3x5 ft) area during veg at lower intensity, where PPFD requirements are lower. Do not try to flower a 120x120cm or larger space with a single G4500 — you will not have enough intensity at the edges of the canopy.

Do I need a separate controller or timer?

No — the G4500 has WiFi and Bluetooth built in. Scheduling, on/off timing, dimming control, and Sunrise/Sunset programming are all handled through the free Spider Farmer app. You do not need to purchase a separate timer or lighting controller for this fixture.

Can I control it with an AC Infinity or third-party controller?

Yes — the G4500 accepts a 0-10V external signal for dimming, which means it is compatible with most third-party lighting controllers including AC Infinity units that output a 0-10V signal. You will typically need a UIS-RJ11 or RJ12 adapter cable to bridge the controller's output port to the fixture's control port. Check your controller's spec sheet to confirm the signal type and connector before buying an adapter.

Are Bridgelux diodes any good?

Yes — Bridgelux is a legitimate American LED manufacturer used in commercial and horticultural applications globally. They are not the same as Samsung LM301H diodes, which is why this light costs less than Spider Farmer's SE or SF ranges that use Samsung. In a hobby 2x4 grow, the real-world yield difference between Bridgelux and Samsung diodes at similar wattage and efficacy is small. If you are running a commercial operation where every fraction of a µmol/J matters, look at higher-spec fixtures. For a home 2x4 tent, the G4500 is more than capable.

How does daisy-chaining work?

The included RJ12 cable connects one G4500 to another in a chain. Once chained, dimming adjustments made on the first fixture — either via the manual knob or the app — apply to all connected units simultaneously. This is useful if you are running multiple 2x4 tents or a longer growing area with more than one G4500. You do not need separate dimmers for each fixture once they are chained.

What is the warranty and how do I claim it?

Spider Farmer offers a 5-year warranty on the G-series. The first year covers comprehensive repair and replacement including shipping costs; years two through five cover parts with the buyer responsible for shipping. Warranty claims are handled directly through Spider Farmer. Register your product via the Spider Farmer website after purchase to activate warranty coverage.
