Your main light hammers the top of the canopy, and by the time it reaches the lower branches and the sides there is not much left. The LumaRay Side Lights (4-Bar) by VIVOSUN fill that gap: four 41cm full-spectrum LED bars, 50W in total, with a red-heavy spectrum (60% red in the 600–700nm range, plus 660nm deep red) that you mount on the tent poles or magnet-clamp through the tent wall to light the lower and side growth from the side. They are built for the VIVOSUN Smart Grow System, so they plug into a GrowHub E42A or E25 for app dimming, and they work well in the VIVOSUN VGrow Smart Grow Tent. Know the limits before you buy: these are supplemental lights, not a main light, and dimming runs through a VIVOSUN controller or a daisy-chained VIVOSUN LED. Our stock is the 240V version with an AU plug.

Grower's Tip
- Aim the bars at the upper-middle of the plant, as VIVOSUN recommends, not down at the pots. Light on the floor is light wasted.
- Start on a low dimming step and work up, watching the leaves closest to the bars. Pale or bleached patches mean back it off or pull the bar away.
- Keep every bar at least 5.1cm from the nearest leaf, and recheck the gap as plants stretch.
- Side light pays off most on a canopy you have opened up. If the lower growth is a wall of leaf, a tidy-up first lets the light reach the sites that matter.
- Slide the pole clamps up as the plants grow so the light stays on the upper-middle of the plant.
- Use the wire mounts to keep cables off the floor and out of the drip and spill zone.
- Do not stare into the bars when they are on. A pair of grow room glasses makes working in a lit tent a lot easier on your eyes.

Can the LumaRay Side Lights be my main grow light?
No. At 50W across four bars they are supplemental lights, built to fill in the lower and side canopy alongside a main overhead light, not to replace it.
Do I need a VIVOSUN controller to dim them?
Yes. Dimming runs through a GrowHub E42A or E42A+ (25 / 50 / 75 / 100% / Off), an E25 with the VIVOSUN app (25–100% / Off), or by daisy-chaining to a VIVOSUN LED grow light with an RJ11 port. Controllers are sold separately.
Will they work in the VIVOSUN VGrow Smart Grow Tent?
Yes. They work well in the VGrow and add side lighting to the lower canopy that the tent's overhead light does not reach.
Can I daisy-chain them with my VIVOSUN grow light?
Yes. They connect to other VIVOSUN LED grow lights that have an RJ11 port, so the side bars follow the same control as your main light.
Do I have to cut or drill my tent to mount them?
No. Clip them to the tent poles with the pole clamps, or hold them to the wall with a magnetic clamp inside and an adhesive metal plate on the outside of the fabric.
How close can the bars be to my plants?
VIVOSUN says to keep at least 5.1cm (2 in) between the bars and the plants. Start further back on a low dimming step and move in only if the leaves are handling it.
Will they switch on during the dark period?
No, as long as they run on the same controller or timer schedule as your main light. They are a light source inside the tent, so never leave them on a separate schedule with photoperiod-sensitive plants.
Do they run on Australian 240V power?
Yes. The stock we sell is the 240V version with an AU plug fitted, the adapter is rated 120–240V at 50–60Hz, and the set carries a 2-year manufacturer warranty.
