The back half of flower decides how a crop smells, tastes and finishes. Ooze by Bloom is the late-flower enhancer for that stretch: molasses for carbohydrate, a red seaweed and a brown kelp, boron and molybdenum, and humic acid, run at 2.5ml per litre from week 5 of flower right through the flush. It's built to back the plant's aroma and essential oil production while it's working hardest to finish, and to keep feeding the root-zone biology with sugars late in the run. It runs on top of your base nutrients. Aroma comes down to genetics and environment first, so Ooze supports what the plant can already do rather than adding something new. A litre makes 400 litres of feed.

Grower's Tip

  • Start Ooze in week 5 of flower, straight after Phat finishes.
  • Bloom's advice is to keep feeding right through the flush rather than switching to plain water.
  • Ooze and Final overlap in the last two weeks of Bloom's program. Run both at their normal rates.
  • Molasses-based feeds can coat drippers and reservoir walls. Clean lines and tanks between runs in recirculating and drip systems.
  • Add Ooze with your other nutrients and adjust pH last. The concentrate is alkaline.
  • Shake well before use. Colour and consistency vary a little between batches, which is normal.

How To Use It

1Shake the bottle well.
2From week 5 of flower, add 2.5ml per litre to your nutrient solution alongside your base nutrients.
3Mix thoroughly, then check and adjust pH last.
4Feed as normal at every watering from week 5 onwards.
5Keep Ooze in the feed right through the flush, and add Final for the last two weeks if you're running Bloom's full program.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do I start Ooze?

From week 5 of flower at 2.5ml per litre, every feed, and keep it going right through the flush.

Can I run Ooze and Final together?

Yes. In Bloom's program they overlap in the last two weeks of flower, each at its normal rate.

Does Ooze contain triacontanol?

No, not according to Bloom's current ingredient list. Final is the late-flower product in the range that contains alfalfa, which naturally carries triacontanol.

Will Ooze gunk up my system?

It can coat lines over time. It contains molasses, so clean drippers, pumps and reservoirs between runs.

Do I need to cut back my base nutrients?

No. Bloom designs its additives to run alongside your base feed at its normal rate, so you add Ooze on top rather than in place of anything.

Does Ooze affect pH?

It can. The concentrate is alkaline (pH 8–10), so add it with your nutrients and adjust pH last.

How long does a bottle last?

A litre makes 400 litres of feed at 2.5ml per litre. The 300ml makes 120 litres.

Is it certified organic?

No. Bloom makes the range mostly from organic sources, but the products are not certified organic, so we don't sell them as organic.

Welcome to The Grow Guys

We built The Grow Guys from the soil up — well, coco and perlite. Before we sold gear, we bought it, ran it, and learned the hard way what's worth the money and what ends up in the shed. That's the filter everything on our shelves passes through. No sales scripts, no rebadged junk, no telling you what you want to hear. Just gear we'd run ourselves and advice from people who actually grow. Chasing higher yields, tighter flowers, or your first harvest? You're in the right place.
