Pairs well with
Everything above the pot is capped by what's happening inside it. Roots by Bloom is a concentrated root promoter made in South Australia, built to push fresh white root growth from the cutting tray right through to the end of flower. One bottle covers three jobs: a 1ml per litre soak for cuttings and plugs, a 0.5ml per litre every-feed additive in soil, coco or hydro, and a steadying hand after transplant. It runs on top of your base nutrients, not instead of them, and at 0.5ml per litre a single litre makes 2,000 litres of feed. It's an additive, so it won't fix a weak base feed, a waterlogged pot or a warm, airless reservoir.

Grower's Tip
- Shake the bottle before every use. Bloom notes colour and consistency can vary from batch to batch, which is normal.
- Add Roots to the water with the rest of your nutrients and adjust pH last. The concentrate is alkaline, so pH before you add it and you'll be chasing the number.
- For cuttings, soak your plugs or cubes in 1ml per litre before you stick the cuttings, then switch to 0.5ml per litre in the feed once they're in.
- Stick to the rate. At this concentration more is not better, and 0.5ml per litre is what the bottle is built around.
- After transplant, keep Roots in every feed so the plant puts new roots into its fresh media rather than sitting in shock.
- Bloom's own sequence runs Roots underneath everything, with Pre in weeks 2–3 of veg and Ultra in the first two weeks of flower.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use Roots on cuttings?
Yes. Soak your plugs or cutting media in 1ml per litre before sticking cuttings, then run 0.5ml per litre in the feed once they're in.
Is Roots a rooting gel?
No. It's a liquid concentrate. Bloom recommends it in place of a gel by soaking plugs and cuttings at 1ml per litre.
How much do I use?
0.5ml per litre at every feed in soil, coco or hydro, and 1ml per litre as a soak for cuttings and plugs.
When do I stop using Roots?
Run it through veg and flower and stop for the final 1–2 week flush.
Do I need to cut back my base nutrients?
No. Bloom designs its additives to run alongside your base feed at its normal rate, so you add Roots on top rather than in place of anything.
Does Roots affect pH?
It can. The concentrate is alkaline (pH 8–10), so add it with your other nutrients and adjust pH last.
Can I use it in DWC or recirculating systems?
Yes. Bloom lists recirculating hydro alongside soil, coco and run-to-waste, all at 0.5ml per litre.
How long does a bottle last?
A litre makes 2,000 litres of feed at 0.5ml per litre. The 300ml makes 600 litres.
Is it certified organic?
No. Bloom makes the range mostly from organic sources, but the products are not certified organic, so we don't sell them as organic.
