Kelp, fish and humates have each earned their place in growing over decades. Seafuel by Bloom puts all three in one bottle: southern bull kelp from the cold Southern Ocean, cold-processed southern bluefin tuna hydrolysate, and leonardite humic acid. It runs at 1ml per litre in every feed from cuttings right through flower, tapering off for the final flush, and a litre makes 1,000 litres. It's a broad tonic that sits on top of your base rather than replacing it, it contains fish, and it's one of the cheapest bottles in the range to run.

Grower's Tip
- Start Seafuel with your cuttings. Bloom runs it in the cloning routine, and it carries straight through veg and flower.
- Taper it off into the final flush rather than cutting it in one hit.
- Fish-based feeds can smell and coat lines. Clean reservoirs, pumps and lines between runs.
- Bloom's range isn't built for tight dripper systems. It runs fine through 4mm tubing or by hand-watering, and even a once-a-week hand-water is worth doing.
- Add it with your other nutrients and adjust pH last. The concentrate is alkaline.
- Shake well before use. Colour and consistency vary a little between batches, which is normal.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's in Seafuel?
Southern bull kelp, cold-processed southern bluefin tuna hydrolysate and leonardite humic acid.
How much do I use?
1ml per litre, every feed, from cuttings through flower. Taper off for the final flush.
Can I use it on cuttings?
Yes. Bloom runs it in the cutting and cloning routine at the same 1ml per litre.
Does it contain fish?
Yes. It's made with southern bluefin tuna hydrolysate. Bloom flags it as an allergen, and it isn't suitable for anyone avoiding animal products.
Will it smell or clog my system?
It can. Fish-based feeds smell and can coat lines, so clean reservoirs and lines between runs. It runs best by hand or through 4mm tubing.
Do I need to cut back my base nutrients?
No. Bloom designs its additives to run alongside your base feed at its normal rate, so you add Seafuel on top rather than in place of anything.
How long does a bottle last?
A litre makes 1,000 litres of feed at 1ml per litre. The 300ml makes 300 litres.
Is it certified organic?
No. Bloom makes the range mostly from natural inputs, but the products are not certified organic, so we don't sell them as organic.
