Heat, transplant, a hard week: every stress event costs growth. Seaweed by Bloom is a plant and soil conditioner made from a single kelp, southern bull kelp from the cold Southern Ocean, carrying natural growth compounds, alginates and potassium. It runs at 1ml per litre in every feed from seedling to bloom, and around transplants and hot spells especially. A litre makes 1,000 litres. It's a conditioner, not a nutrient, so it sits on top of your base feed, and it's priced to run every watering.

Grower's Tip
- Keep Seaweed in the feed around transplants and heatwaves, when stress costs the most growth.
- It's a conditioner, not a base feed. Keep your base nutrients at their normal rate.
- Outdoor beds and living soil get the most from the alginates, which help soil hold moisture.
- Want kelp plus fish and humates in one bottle? Seafuel is the bigger version.
- Add it with your other nutrients and adjust pH last. The concentrate is alkaline.
- Shake well before use. Colour and consistency vary a little between batches, which is normal.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Bloom Seaweed made from?
A single kelp: southern bull kelp (Durvillaea potatorum) from the cold Southern Ocean off southern Australia.
How much do I use?
1ml per litre, every feed, from seedling to bloom.
Is it a fertiliser?
No, not really. It's a plant and soil conditioner with a little potassium. It sits on top of your base feed.
When is it most useful?
Around stress: transplants, heatwaves and any week where growth stalls. Bloom runs it every feed anyway.
What's the difference between Seaweed and Seafuel?
Seaweed is straight bull kelp. Seafuel is the same kelp with tuna hydrolysate and humic acid added.
Do I need to cut back my base nutrients?
No. Bloom designs its additives to run alongside your base feed at its normal rate, so you add Seaweed on top rather than in place of anything.
How long does a bottle last?
A litre makes 1,000 litres of feed at 1ml per litre. The 300ml makes 300 litres.
Is it certified organic?
No. Bloom makes the range mostly from natural inputs, but the products are not certified organic, so we don't sell them as organic.
