Pairs well with
IntroGro LED Bars are slim, driverless light bars built for the places a panel will not go — clone tents, propagation racks, shelf grows, under-canopy and side lighting. Each bar is a single sealed one-piece unit with the driver built in, a 2 metre lead and plug on the end, and mounting clips for vertical or horizontal fitting. Choose the 6500K Grow spectrum for propagation and vegetative growth or the 2400K Bloom spectrum for flower, in a 54cm 26W bar or a 95cm 42W bar. Link them off a single circuit up to 500W total and build the coverage you actually need.
Specifications
Grower's Tip
- For a clone tent or a propagation shelf, a single 26W Grow bar is the standard choice. Cuttings want gentle light, not intensity — more wattage in a small sealed space fights you on temperature before it does anything useful.
- Cuttings are usually run 24 hours on while they are striking roots. At this wattage that will not stress them. It is plant-specific though, and some varieties do better with a few hours of dark — check what your variety wants rather than assuming.
- Count watts, not bars, when you link them. The 500W ceiling is a circuit limit — that is up to nineteen 26W bars, or eleven 42W bars, and mixing sizes changes the number. Add the wattage up before you chain the last one.
- Mount horizontally over a canopy for spread, vertically down between plants for side light. The clips do both, so decide which problem you are solving before you fix anything in place.
- Mixing spectrums on one rack works well — Grow bars over your propagation shelf, Bloom bars over the shelf below. They link off the same circuit regardless of spectrum.
- IP44 means splash-proof, not submersible. Run the bar over your misters happily, but keep the plug end out of the drip line and off the tray floor.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the actual difference between the Grow and Bloom bars?
The spectrum. The Grow bar runs at 6500K — a cool, blue-biased white aimed at cuttings, seedlings and vegetative growth. The Bloom bar runs at 2400K, a warm red-rich output aimed at flowering. They are otherwise the same fixture: same lengths, same wattages, same IP44 rating, same 2 metre lead, same 500W linking limit. The Bloom bars also render colour more accurately, at CRI 96-98 against the Grow bar's 85.
How many bars can I link together?
Up to 500W worth on a single circuit. That works out to a maximum of nineteen 26W bars or eleven 42W bars, and you can mix sizes and spectrums freely within that total as long as the combined wattage stays under 500W. Add the numbers up rather than counting fixtures.
Do I need a separate driver, ballast or power supply?
No. These are driverless one-piece units — the driver sits inside the bar itself. Each bar ships with a 2 metre lead and plug already fitted, so it goes straight into a standard 240V outlet. There is no external box to mount, no ballast, and nothing extra to buy.
Which length should I get?
Measure the space, not the plant. The 26W bar is 54cm long and suits clone tents, single shelf bays and prop tray runs. The 42W bar is 95cm and suits a full metre-wide shelf, a bench run or a wider tent wall. If you are between the two, two short bars spread across the space generally beat one long bar down the middle.
Are they safe over misted cuttings and humidity domes?
Yes — they carry an IP44 rating, meaning splash-proof and sealed against solid objects larger than 1mm. That covers the mist, condensation and general damp of a propagation space, which is why these bars turn up in clone tents so often. IP44 is not a submersion rating, so keep the plug end out of the drip line and off a wet tray floor.
Can one bar run a whole grow on its own?
In a propagation space, yes — a single 26W Grow bar over a clone tent or prop shelf is a complete solution. For a flowering canopy, no. At 26W and 42W these are supplemental and close-proximity fixtures: they earn their place where a panel cannot fit, cannot get close enough, or would run too hot. The usual setup is a main light over the canopy with Bloom bars filling in the lower and outer growth.
Does it come with mounting hardware?
Yes. Each bar ships with two hanging hooks and mounting clips that take it either vertically or horizontally, plus the fitted 2 metre lead and plug. You do not need to buy a hanging kit to get it up, though rope ratchets are worth having if you want to adjust the height as plants grow.
