Veg built the sites; flower is where they fill, and the feed has to lean toward phosphorus and potassium to do it. Flower A&B by Bloom is the two-part coco base for that stretch, made in South Australia: Part A carries the nitrogen, calcium and chelated iron, Part B the phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and trace elements, with vitamin B1 in A and humic acid in B. You run them in equal parts at 1–2ml per litre each, at the full rate from the flip right through flower, and taper off for the final flush. At 2ml per litre a litre of each part makes 500 litres of feed. It's the base the Bloom flowering additives sit on. Bloom labels it for coco and doesn't publish soil or hydro rates, and it isn't certified organic.

Every size is an A + B set. You get one bottle of Part A and one of Part B in the size you pick, so the 1L set is 2 × 1L bottles and the 25L set is 2 × 25L drums. The two parts only work together, in equal amounts.
Leans into P and KPart B runs 1.6-8.4-11.8, so the feed shifts toward phosphorus and potassium once the sites are set.
Two parts, one complete feedPart A brings nitrogen, calcium and iron; Part B brings phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and trace elements. Equal parts, every feed.
Tuned for cocoBloom balances it for coco through the bloom weeks and labels it as a coco base.
A set in every sizeOne Part A and one Part B in every size, from 2 × 1L for a tent to 2 × 25L drums for a room.
1L of each makes 500LAt 2ml per litre per part, the 1L set makes 500 litres of feed and the 2.5L set makes 1,250.
The base for Bloom's flower programUltra, Phat, PK, Ooze and Final all sit on top of it at their normal rates.

Grower's Tip

  • Switch from Grow A&B to Flower A&B with the first feed after you change to your flowering light schedule.
  • Add Part A to the water and stir it through before Part B goes in. Never pour the two concentrates together undiluted.
  • Running Silica? It goes in first, into plain water on its own, before Part A.
  • Keep A and B equal. Running more of one part than the other throws the whole feed out of balance.
  • Add your additives after the base, then check EC and adjust pH last.
  • Bloom's flower additives stack on top: Ultra in weeks 1–2, Phat in weeks 3–4, PK and Ooze from week 5, and Final for the last two weeks.
  • Watch EC as you stack additives through mid and late flower, and ease back if leaf tips start to burn.
  • Taper the base off into the final flush rather than cutting it in one hit.

How To Use It

1Fill your reservoir with plain water. If you run Silica, add it first and stir it through.
2Add Part A at the full 2ml per litre from the flip (1–2ml per litre range) and mix thoroughly.
3Add the same amount of Part B and mix thoroughly.
4Add the Bloom additives for your week of flower, then check EC and adjust pH last.
5Feed every watering through flower and taper off for the final flush.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I get both Part A and Part B?

Yes. Every size is a set of one Part A and one Part B in that size, so the 1L set is 2 × 1L bottles and the 25L set is 2 × 25L drums.

Can I use Part A or Part B on its own?

No. They're two halves of one feed and only work together, in equal amounts.

How much Flower A&B do I use?

1–2ml per litre of each part, in equal amounts. Bloom runs it at the full rate, 2ml per litre of A plus 2ml per litre of B, from the flip.

When do I switch from Grow A&B?

At the flip. Start Flower A&B with the first feed on your flowering light schedule.

When do I stop using it?

Taper it off for the final flush. Bloom doesn't set a fixed flush length, so time it to your plants.

Can I run the Bloom additives on top?

Yes. Ultra, Phat, PK, Ooze and Final are designed to run on top of the base at their normal rates, with no need to cut the base back.

Can I use it in soil or hydro?

Bloom builds and labels it as a coco base and only publishes its rates for coco. If you're feeding soil or a recirculating system, talk to us before you buy and we'll help you pick the right base.

How long does a set last?

At 2ml per litre per part, the 1L set makes 500 litres of feed, the 2.5L set 1,250 litres, the 15L set 7,500 litres and the 25L set 12,500 litres.

Is it certified organic?

No. It's a mineral base nutrient, and Bloom's range is not certified organic, so we don't sell it as organic.

Welcome to The Grow Guys

We built The Grow Guys from the soil up — well, coco and perlite. Before we sold gear, we bought it, ran it, and learned the hard way what's worth the money and what ends up in the shed. That's the filter everything on our shelves passes through. No sales scripts, no rebadged junk, no telling you what you want to hear. Just gear we'd run ourselves and advice from people who actually grow. Chasing higher yields, tighter flowers, or your first harvest? You're in the right place.
