Pairs well with
An orchid spends most of the year not flowering, and that is when the next flush of blooms is actually decided: new leaves, new roots, a fatter pseudobulb. Orchid Focus Grow is Growth Technology's vegetative-stage orchid nutrient, balanced for all orchids between spikes with higher nitrate-nitrogen and calcium than the Bloom formula and no urea at all, because urea has been shown to be toxic to certain orchids. It is pH buffered for tap water, works in bark, sphagnum, LECA and semi-hydro, and is used at 5ml per litre at every watering. Switch to Orchid Focus Bloom when a spike appears. Available in 250ml, 1L, 5L and 20L.

Grower's Tip
- Water first if the bark is bone dry, then feed. Dry roots take up nutrient unevenly; damp roots take it up as intended.
- Switch to Orchid Focus Bloom the day you notice a spike forming. Staying on Grow through flowering is the most common reason a spike stalls.
- Give the once-a-month 8ml per litre boost when the plant is actively pushing new leaves or roots, not when it is sulking.
- Flush with plain water once a month if you are not already watering to runoff. Bark holds salts.
- Mix fresh every fortnight. A pre-mixed solution is good for about 1–2 weeks.
- Store the bottle cool and dark. Shake before each use.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Orchid Focus Grow safe for Phalaenopsis?
Yes. It is balanced for all orchid types in their growth phase and contains no urea, which has been shown to be toxic to certain orchids.
When do I switch from Grow to Bloom?
When a flower spike appears. Use Grow between flowerings to build leaves and roots, then move to Orchid Focus Bloom for the spike and the flowers.
Can I use it at every watering?
Yes. Growth Technology's direction is 5ml per litre at every watering, with a plain-water flush once a month.
Does it contain urea?
No. Orchid Focus Grow is guaranteed free of urea, chlorides and sodium. Its nitrogen is supplied as nitrate.
Do I need to adjust pH?
No, not with most tap water. The formula is pH buffered.
What is the monthly boost?
Once a month, mix at 8ml per litre instead of 5ml. Growth Technology recommends it for extra vibrancy and vigour during active growth.
Will it work in bark, sphagnum and LECA?
Yes. It is formulated for both hydroponics and soil, which covers bark, moss, LECA and semi-hydro setups.
What is the difference between Orchid Focus Grow and Orchid Focus?
Orchid Focus Grow is tuned for the vegetative phase with higher nitrate-nitrogen and calcium. Orchid Focus is the single-bottle formula for people who do not want to switch products through the year.
