The HOMEbox Ambient Q300+ is a 3 x 3 x 2.2m grow room — a 10x10 footprint with 9m² of floor and 2.2m of headroom. This is the largest tent in the Ambient range and it is built like it: a 200kg frame, side windows down near floor level so you can reach the back row without climbing in, and PAR+ lining throughout. If you have a double garage bay or a dedicated room to fill, this is the one.

9m² of FloorThree metres square. Room for a full four-light grid with proper spacing between canopies.
200kg FrameThe top of the HOMEbox load range. Four LEDs, a 12-inch fan and a 12-inch carbon filter sits comfortably inside it.
Low Side WindowsWindows sit close to the ground, so you can check root zones and reservoirs without opening the whole wall.
Twelve PortsSix 100mm, two 300mm and four 350mm — 12-inch gear bolts straight on with no adapters.

Kitting This Tent Out
  • Lighting: four Treegers GL650W+ LEDs in a two by two grid. That is 2600W across 9m², which is the right density for a room this size.
  • Air: an AC Infinity Cloudline Pro T 12-inch inline fan pulling through an AC Infinity 12-inch carbon filter. One 12-inch unit moves the air a 9m² room needs without doubling up on gear.
  • The 12-inch fan and filter mate the tent's 300mm ports directly — no reducers, no adapters, no leaks around a mismatched collar.
  • Every port is side mounted — there are no roof ports. The filter and fan hang off a side wall, not the ceiling of the tent.
  • Run passive intake through the opposite 300mm port and the 350mm ports so air crosses the full floor instead of short-circuiting.
  • Use the 100mm ports for power leads and probe cables so ducting ports stay free.
  • At three metres square you will get dead air in the middle. Clip fans at canopy height on opposing corners fix it.

Setting It Up

1
Open both cartons and lay the poles out by length. Clear around 3.4 x 3.4m of floor — you need to walk right around the frame while you build it.
2
Build the base square first, then the uprights, then the top frame. No tools — the connectors push together by hand.
3
Get the canvas on with two people minimum. A 3m square canvas is heavy and awkward to wrangle solo.
4
Hang the four lights on the top bars before anything else goes in, spacing them evenly across the 3m span.
5
Mount the 12-inch filter and fan straight onto one 300mm port, then open the opposite side for intake so air pulls across the full floor.
6
Close every unused port, run the lights at night with the room dark, and walk the perimeter checking for leaks before you start a cycle.

Questions

Will the Q300+ fit under a standard Australian ceiling?

Yes, in most homes. The tent stands 2.2m assembled against a standard Australian ceiling of 2.4m, leaving roughly 20cm. That clears the tent, but a filter mounted high plus a bend in the ducting can eat the gap — measure before you order, especially in a garage.

What size is the Q300+ in feet?

It is a 10x10 tent. The footprint is 300 x 300cm, which is close enough to 10 feet by 10 feet, with 2.2m (just over 7 feet) of height.

Does it arrive in one box?

No. The Q300+ ships in two packages — frame in one, canvas in the other. Depending on the carrier they can land on different days, so do not panic if only one shows up first.

How much light does a 9m² tent need?

Four Treegers GL650W+ LEDs is our pick — a two by two grid, 2600W total, around 289W per square metre. That is a proper flowering density across the whole floor rather than one bright patch in the middle.

What size fan does the Q300+ need?

A 12-inch (300mm) fan. The tent has two 300mm ports and four 350mm ports, so a 12-inch inline fan and matching carbon filter connect directly with no reducer. Our pick is the AC Infinity Cloudline Pro T 12-inch with the AC Infinity 12-inch carbon filter.

Are there ports in the roof?

No. All twelve ports — six 100mm, two 300mm and four 350mm — are mounted in the side walls. Plan on hanging your filter and fan against a side wall rather than venting straight up.

Can the frame hold a 12-inch filter and fan?

Yes. The Q300+ frame is rated to 200kg, the highest in the Ambient range. Four LED fixtures plus a 12-inch fan and carbon filter comes in well under that on Ø22mm poles.
