Grower's Tip
  • One pipette per bottle. Write the product name on the bulb with a permanent marker.
  • Squeeze the bulb before the tip goes into the liquid, then release slowly. Squeezing while submerged blows bubbles into your bottle.
  • When adjusting pH, add a few drops, stir, wait, then re-test. Chasing the number in big hits is how you overshoot.
  • Keep pH Up and pH Down pipettes well apart from your nutrient pipettes.
  • Never let liquid run back into the bulb. Hold the pipette tip-down while you move it.
  • When the label gives an exact number of millilitres, use a measuring syringe. Pipettes are for drops and small transfers.

How To Use It
1Squeeze the bulb flat with the tip held clear of the liquid.
2Lower the tip into the bottle and release the bulb slowly to draw the liquid up.
3Keep the tip pointing down and move it over your water.
4Squeeze gently to release it a drop at a time, or all at once for a transfer. Stir, then test if you are adjusting pH.
5Draw clean water through it a couple of times and store it with its bottle.
