Every nutrient label gives its dose per litre, so the dose is only as good as your water measurement. These graduated plastic measuring jugs take the guesswork out of the water side of the mix: filling watering cans, topping up a reservoir in known steps, or pre-mixing a batch of feed. They come in 250ml, 500ml, 1L, 2L and 5L, each with a handle, a pour spout and a millilitre scale, and they are sold one jug at a time. They measure water and mixed solution well, but their scale is too coarse for a few millilitres of concentrate. Use a measuring syringe for that part.

Grower's Tip
- Jug for the water, syringe for the concentrate. Each tool is accurate at its own scale.
- Read the level with the jug sitting on a flat bench and your eye level with the line.
- Always add concentrate to water, never water onto a jug of concentrate.
- Keep one jug just for pH adjusting so acid or alkali never ends up in your nutrient mix.
- Mark your most-used fill line with a permanent marker if you mix the same volume every time.
- Rinse after every use. Dried nutrient salts cloud the plastic and make the scale hard to read.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the jugs sold one at a time?
Yes. Each unit is one jug in the size you choose.
Which size should I buy?
Pick the jug that suits the volume you mix most. The 250ml and 500ml suit small foliar or test batches, the 1L and 2L suit watering cans, and the 5L suits topping up a reservoir in fewer trips.
Can I measure nutrient concentrate in them?
Yes, for larger volumes. For a dose of a few millilitres, the jug's scale is too coarse, so use a measuring syringe instead.
Do they come with a lid?
No. They are open measuring jugs with a handle and pour spout.
Do they count towards free shipping?
Yes. They count towards free shipping on orders over $499*.
Are they suitable for food or medical use?
No. We sell these for horticultural use only.
