  • If your temps are swinging, your VPD is already off — even when humidity reads fine.
  • Lock temperature first. Everything else becomes easier to control from there.
  • Use thermal-resistant ducting only on the exhaust side — standard duct material won't safely handle the heat output.
  • Keep at least 30 cm clearance between the exhaust outlet and any fabric, foliage, or combustibles.

How to Dial It In

Position the unit inside or outside your tent depending on space. Outside placement keeps electronics cooler in summer; inside placement retains more heat in winter.

Fit a thermal-resistant 4" / 100 mm hose to the exhaust port — the AC Infinity Thermal-Resistant Hose is built for this exact fitting. Standard layered ducting won't handle the heat output safely.

Connect the intake port to fresh outside air (open-loop) or back into your tent (closed-loop). Closed-loop retains more heat and runs more efficiently in colder rooms.

Plug into mains and position the corded sensor probe at canopy height — that's the temperature you actually want to control, not the floor or the top of the tent.

For manual control, select heat level 1–10 on the unit. Lower levels for veg or lights-on; higher output for lights-off and colder overnight conditions.

For automated control, connect to a UIS controller. Set your target VPD and temperature ranges and the system adjusts heat output dynamically — no manual tweaking mid-grow.

Run for the first 10 minutes and check the duct collar for leaks or hot spots before leaving the unit unattended.
