Pairs well with
Root-Juice is BioBizz's organic root stimulant, made entirely from vegetable ingredients and built on two of them: premium humic acid and seaweed. It is formulated to encourage vigorous root development and to enhance the natural biological life that surrounds and supports the root system, so a young plant is prepared to absorb nutrients quickly. That is the strong, resilient start the rest of the BioBizz schedule builds on, and it is why Root-Juice is the first bottle on the chart and the first one you stop. BioBizz runs it at 4ml per litre through propagation and veg, then 2ml per litre for the first two weeks of flower, in soil, peat and coco mixes, and lists it for supporting roots in hydroponic and aeroponic systems too. Available in 500ml, 1L and 5L.

Grower's Tip
- Front-load it. BioBizz says the first week or weeks are the crucial time period for healthy rooting. 4ml per litre from the first watering in the pot, not after the plant looks like it needs help.
- It is the first bottle you stop. Root-Juice runs 2ml per litre in flowering weeks 1 and 2, then it is done. Do not keep paying for root stimulant in week 6.
- Cuttings and seedlings get the full 4ml. Propagation is on the chart at 4ml per litre, the same as veg. At that rate a 500ml bottle is 125 litres of propagation water, which is a lot of cuttings.
- Feed the biology, then add some. Root-Juice enhances the biological life already around the roots. A mycorrhizal inoculant like Great White at transplant adds the fungal side for it to feed.
- Coco: pH and an enzyme. BioBizz's coco condition applies here too: adjust pH and use an enzyme product. Cannazym is the usual pick.
- Hydro and aero: start low. BioBizz lists Root-Juice for hydroponic and aeroponic systems, but there is no hydro column on the AU schedule. In a reservoir, start at the bottom of the 1–4ml range and watch for build-up.
- Dose by ml, not EC. A humic and seaweed extract barely moves an EC meter. 4ml per litre is 40ml in a 10-litre can; a syringe makes that easy.
- Shake it. Humic concentrates settle. Shake before every pour and stir the can through.
How To Use It
Pairs Well With
Runs alongside Root-Juice from propagation at 2ml per litre. The sugar beet base feeds the same soil life Root-Juice is building.
Bio-Heaven by BioBizzAmino acid energy booster that also starts at 2ml per litre in propagation and veg, then runs through to harvest.
Alg-A-Mic by BioBizzCold-pressed seaweed for stress recovery from veg onward. Useful insurance for transplants that sulk.
Great White MycorrhizaeRoot-Juice feeds the biology; Great White adds it. Dust the roots at transplant, then keep Root-Juice running through veg.
Cannazym by CannaBioBizz says an enzyme product is essential on coco. Cannazym breaks down dead root material so new roots have room to grow.
Root Boosters RangeRooting gels, inoculants and stimulants for cuttings, seedlings and transplants.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is BioBizz Root-Juice?
Root-Juice is an organic root stimulant made entirely from vegetable ingredients and designed for organic gardening. It combines two natural substances, premium humic acid and seaweed, and is formulated to encourage vigorous root development and enhance the natural biological life around the root system. BioBizz's description is that it helps with the initial rooting stage as well as the growth of plants that have already rooted, so the plant is prepared to absorb nutrients quickly.
What is the Root-Juice dose rate?
BioBizz's product page gives 1–4ml per litre of water; the data sheet and the Australian schedule use 4ml per litre. The AU chart runs 4ml per litre through propagation and veg, 2ml per litre for flowering weeks 1 and 2, and nothing after that. The same numbers apply on coco / light mix and on fertilised substrate.
When do I use Root-Juice, and when do I stop?
From the very start. BioBizz says to feed with Root-Juice during the first week or weeks because that is the crucial time period for healthy rooting. On the AU schedule it runs every feed through propagation and veg, drops to 2ml per litre for the first two weeks of flower, and is finished by week 3 of flower.
Can I use Root-Juice on cuttings and seedlings?
Yes. Propagation is on the BioBizz chart at the full 4ml per litre. Use it from the first watering once the cutting or seedling is in its medium.
Does Root-Juice work in coco, hydroponics and aeroponics?
BioBizz describes it as ideal for adding to soil, peat and coco mixes, and for supporting the roots in hydroponic or aeroponic systems. The coco condition is the standard BioBizz one: adjust pH and use an enzyme product. For hydro and aero there is no column on the Australian schedule, so start at the low end of the 1–4ml range and keep an eye on the reservoir.
Is Root-Juice organic?
BioBizz lists Root-Juice with an Ecocert attestation and Control Union certification as an organic input under both the EU regulation and the US National Organic Program, plus Clean Green and EnvirOganic. Those are overseas input certifications rather than an Australian organic certification. It carries the BioBizz vegan icon on the AU schedule.
How is Root-Juice different from a mycorrhizal inoculant?
Root-Juice feeds and stimulates the biology already around the roots with humic acid and seaweed. An inoculant like Great White adds living fungi and bacteria to the root zone. They do different jobs and run well together: inoculate at transplant, then keep Root-Juice in the feed through veg.
Will Root-Juice change my EC or pH?
Barely, on EC: it is a humic and seaweed extract, not a mineral salt, so an EC meter will not tell you much. Dose by volume. On pH, BioBizz says adjustment is essential on coco; in soil it gives no target.
Why is the 5L so much dearer than the feeds?
Root-Juice is the concentrated stimulant in the range, not a base fertiliser, and it is priced that way everywhere BioBizz is sold. The flip side is that it runs for propagation, veg and two weeks of flower only, so a 500ml bottle at 4ml per litre is 125 litres of feed and covers a small tent for a cycle.
Which size should I buy?
At 4ml per litre the 500ml makes 125 litres, the 1L makes 250 litres and the 5L makes 1,250 litres. Because it is only used through propagation, veg and early flower, most home growers are well served by the 500ml or 1L; the 5L is for propagation benches and bigger rooms.
