The Digi-Lumen Extreme 400W is the new generation of Digi-Lumen's compact 6-bar LED, replacing the Halo 400W with more output from the same footprint — 1200 µmol/s at 3.0 µmol/J across a full 1m x 1m canopy. The high-frequency driver is built into the fixture, dimming runs from the manual dial or the 0–10V control ports, and the IP45-rated body is made for the humidity of a working grow space. Light distribution is engineered edge to edge, so PPFD stays consistent from corner to corner instead of spiking in the middle.

1200 µmol/s Output 11% more photon output than the Halo 400W it replaces — enough intensity to drive high-light crops from veg through heavy flower.

3.0 µmol/J Efficacy PAR-optimised diodes turn more of every watt into usable light — lower power bills and less heat at the canopy for the same output.

Even Corner-to-Corner Coverage Engineered for uniform PPFD across the full 1m x 1m area — no hot centre, no dim corners, measured on a 5 x 5 grid at 30cm.

Getting the most from your Extreme 400W

Dim right down for seedlings and clones, then step up as plants establish — full power too early stresses young plants.
Coverage is optimised at around 30cm hang height — that is where the corner-to-corner uniformity was measured, so use it as your flower baseline and watch leaf tips before going lower.
The 0–10V ports pair with a controller like the Digi-Lumen Enviro-Pro for automated dimming, sunrise/sunset ramps and temperature protection.
At 3.0 µmol/J it runs cooler than older 400W fixtures, but a 1m tent at full power still needs proper exhaust — size your fan to the space.

Setting Up

Hang the fixture from your tent's top bars, centred over the canopy.

Set the height — higher for young plants, working toward roughly 30cm above the canopy at full power in flower.

Plug in — the driver is built in, so there is no external ballast or hub to mount.

Dial the dimmer to suit the growth stage, or wire the 0–10V ports to a lighting controller for automated control.

Ramp to full 400W through flower, checking canopy temperature and leaf response as you go.

A 1m x 1m tent is the target — the fixture is engineered for even coverage across a 1.0m x 1.0m canopy. For 1.2m and 1.5m spaces, step up to the Extreme 720W.

How is it different from the Halo 400W?

The Extreme 400W is the Halo's successor — 1200 µmol/s versus 1080, and 3.0 µmol/J versus 2.7, so more light and better efficiency from the same 400W draw and 1m x 1m footprint.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. It has a manual dimming control on the fixture, plus 0–10V control ports for automated dimming from a compatible controller.
