Flairform Electrode Cleaner is a 250ml cleaning solution made specifically for pH and conductivity (EC) meter probes used in hydroponics. Most electrode cleaners are built from acids, alkalis or chelates — chemistry that does little against the contamination probes pick up from nutrient solutions. This one is formulated for exactly that job. A five-minute soak removes both organic and inorganic buildup, restores accuracy and response time, and in many cases means you won't need to re-calibrate afterwards.
Specifications
- Avoid dipping electrodes in oily solutions — they coat the sensing surface and cause slow, drifting readings.
- Never measure or leave probes sitting in harsh concentrates like raw nutrient, pH Up or silica additives. These damage electrodes faster than anything else in the grow room.
- Clean before you check calibration, not after — a fouled probe will calibrate to bad numbers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Flairform Electrode Cleaner work on both pH and EC probes?
Yes. It is formulated for both pH and conductivity (EC) meter electrodes, so one bottle covers every probe in your grow room.
Do I still need to calibrate after cleaning?
Not always. Flairform designed this cleaner so that in many situations a clean restores accuracy without re-calibration. Check the probe against a buffer or standard solution after the soak — if it reads true, you're done.
How long do I soak the electrode?
Five minutes. Unlike some cleaners, the electrode needs no rest time afterwards — it can go straight back to measuring.
How often should I clean my probes?
Flairform recommends cleaning prior to checking calibration. If your readings are slow to settle or drifting, that's the probe telling you it's due for a clean.
Why not just use a general-purpose electrode cleaner?
Most electrode cleaners are made from acids, alkalis or chelates, and those chemistries are largely ineffective against contamination from hydroponic nutrient solutions. This cleaner is built specifically for that type of fouling.
