Pairs well with
The Digi-Lumen Halo 400W is a 6-bar full-spectrum LED built for 1m x 1m tents, pushing 1080 µmol/s at 2.7 µmol/J from 1128 diodes. The driver is built into the fixture, the manual dimmer steps through 160W, 240W, 320W and 400W, and the 0–10V control ports let a controller run the dimming for you. A polycarbonate cover over the diodes and an IP45 rating handle the humidity of a working grow tent, and at 3.6kg it hangs off the lightest tent frame without a worry.
Specifications
- Start seedlings and clones at 160W and step up as plants establish — full power too early stresses young plants.
- Hang at 50–60cm for veg, then drop to 40–45cm in flower. Watch leaf tips for stress before going lower.
- The 0–10V ports pair with a controller like the Digi-Lumen Enviro-Pro for automated dimming, sunrise/sunset ramps and temperature protection.
- IP45 means humidity and spray resistance, not waterproof — keep the fixture above the canopy and away from direct water.
Setting Up
Pairs Well With
The Halo's 0–10V ports plug straight into the Enviro-Pro's four dimming channels — automated dimming, sunrise/sunset and temperature protection from one touchscreen.
Grow TentsThe 400W covers a true 1m x 1m footprint — match it to a tent in that size range so no output is wasted on the walls.
Extreme 400W LED — The New ModelThe Halo's successor: 1200 µmol/s at 3.0 µmol/J from the same 1m x 1m footprint. If the last two Halos are gone, this is the one.
FAQ
Is this the current Digi-Lumen 400W model?
No — Digi-Lumen has superseded the Halo with the Extreme 400W. These are the final two units we will stock: brand new in box, covered by the full 2-year warranty, at a final price that will not drop.
What tent size suits the Halo 400W?
A 1m x 1m tent is the sweet spot — the maximum recommended coverage is 1000mm x 1000mm. For 1.2m or 1.5m tents, step up to a larger Halo.
Is it dimmable?
Yes. A manual dial steps through 160W, 240W, 320W and 400W, and the 0–10V control ports allow automated dimming from a compatible controller.
Does it need an external driver or ballast?
No. The 400W driver is built into the fixture — plug it into a standard Australian outlet and it runs.
Can I use it for both veg and flower?
Yes. The full-spectrum white and red output covers the whole cycle — run lower dimmer settings through veg and full power through flower.
Is it water resistant?
Yes, to IP45 — protected against spray and grow room humidity, with a polycarbonate cover over the diodes. It is not waterproof, so keep it out of direct water contact.
