Adding more nutrient does nothing if the plant can't take it up. Humate by Bloom is a concentrated humic acid, 10% from leonardite, that conditions the root zone and holds minerals in forms roots can reach, so more of the feed you already pay for gets used. It runs at 0.5ml per litre in every feed from seedling to late flower, and a litre makes 2,000 litres. It's an uptake helper that sits on top of your base, not a nutrient in its own right, and it won't make up for a feed that's short to begin with.

Grower's Tip
- Stick to 0.5ml per litre. Humate works on how the plant uses your feed, so more doesn't add more.
- It's alkaline, so add it with your other nutrients and adjust pH last.
- Living soil or tired outdoor beds are where Humate earns its place fastest.
- Pair it with Sea Minerals, as Bloom does, so the roots have a full mineral spread to take up.
- Bloom's range isn't built for tight dripper systems. It runs fine through 4mm tubing or by hand-watering, and even a once-a-week hand-water is worth doing.
- Shake well before use. Colour and consistency vary a little between batches, which is normal.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does Humate do?
It conditions the root zone and holds minerals in forms roots can reach, so plants take up more of the feed you already give them.
How much do I use?
0.5ml per litre, every feed, from seedling to late flower.
Is Humate a fertiliser?
No, not really. It's 10% humic acid with a little potassium. It helps the plant use your feed rather than feeding it directly.
Do I need to cut back my base nutrients?
No. Bloom designs its additives to run alongside your base feed at its normal rate, so you add Humate on top rather than in place of anything.
Can I use it in coco or hydro?
Yes. Bloom lists soil, coco and hydro at the same 0.5ml per litre.
Does Humate affect pH?
It can. The concentrate is alkaline (pH 8–10), so add it with your nutrients and adjust pH last.
How long does a bottle last?
A litre makes 2,000 litres of feed at 0.5ml per litre. The 300ml makes 600 litres.
Is it certified organic?
No. Bloom makes the range mostly from natural inputs, but the products are not certified organic, so we don't sell them as organic.
