Can I choose which brand of tube I get?
The combo ships with whichever tube is in stock — Horti Air Heat Saber or Cultiv8. They're the same class of heater: identical wattage, IP55 rating, radiant design, overheat protection and included mounting hardware. If the brand matters to you, buy the tube and shield as separate products and you choose exactly what arrives.
Which size do I need?
Work off the volume you're keeping warm: 60W (~30cm) for up to about 2m³, 120W (~60cm) for around 3–4m³, 240W (~120cm) for around 5–6m³. On a thermostat, going one size up costs nothing in practice.
Does it hold a set temperature on its own?
No — plugged straight into the wall the tube simply runs, and its built-in cut-out is an overheat safety, not a thermostat. Add a plug-in controller like the Cultiv8 Thermostat and the kit becomes fully automatic.
Does the shield come fitted?
It clips on in seconds with no tools — fit it before the first run, angled so the shielded face sits between the tube and whatever needs protecting.
Is it safe inside a humid grow tent?
